Privacy Terms

Privacy Terms of Use of the Baskit website or application ("Privacy Terms") discloses the policy for handling personal data of individuals or companies (hereinafter referred to as "Users" or "You") who access the site www.baskit.app or applications owned by PT Baskit Technology Application (hereinafter referred to as "Baskit" or "We"), namely a business entity established and operating legally based on the laws of the Republic of Indonesia which operates at CHR Office, Grand Slipi Tower Fl. 9 Unit O, Jl. You must read the Terms of Service and Privacy Terms carefully before starting to use or access the Baskit Website or application. All provisions in these Privacy Terms apply and are binding on Users of the Baskit Website or application.

By visiting and/or registering and/or accessing an Account on the Baskit Website or application, Users are deemed to accept and agree to all Privacy Terms and Terms of Service.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM USERS

The information we collect from our users falls into two categories:

  1. Information you provide. Information in the form of personal data that you voluntarily provide when you register, order certain services, contact us, survey, participate in quizzes or provide an email address. This information includes but is not limited to name, telephone number, e-mail, identity number.

  2. Information that Baskit collects. Information that Baskit collects automatically when you use features on the Baskit website or application, including information about your search traces on the Baskit Website or application. This information is used to provide general statistics about website or application usage.

  3. Information that Baskit received from other sources. Under certain circumstances, Baskit may receive information when you use other sites that Baskit operates or other services that Baskit provides. Baskit also collaborates with third parties (including but not limited to business partners, advertising networks, information search providers, payment gateway partners, and digital wallets) (“Baskit Partners”) and may receive information from these third parties. Baskit will verify information received from other sources within reasonable limits in accordance with applicable regulations.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

  1. Register on Baskit

    1. The Baskit website or application can be accessed publicly by completing the free registration process required to fully access the information and services offered.

    2. Registration on the Baskit website or application is done by providing your name, cellphone number and/or e-mail address, and password. By registering and using the Baskit website or application, you are deemed to agree to our Membership Terms and Conditions.

  2. Quizzes, Sweepstakes and Special Offers. Baskit collects personal information from users in connection with quizzes, sweepstakes or special offers from sponsors. If this information will be shared with third parties other than Baskit, we will notify you at the time of data collection. If you do not want your personal data or information to be with parties other than Baskit, you can refuse to take part in various sweepstakes, quizzes or other offers.

  3. User Surveys and Market Research. Baskit may collect information from users on matters relating to user surveys and market research conducted. Information we collect via websites, applications, telephone or by mail. Information you provide through user surveys and market research may be shared with advertisers and partners unless previously provided otherwise at the time of information collection.

  4. Promotions and Special Events. We may send information regarding various promotions and special events organized by sponsors or Baskit Partners. We will offer Users related promotions and special events, as well as notify them of the information needed and must be provided to sponsors or Baskit Partners.

INFORMATION COLLECTED USING TECHNOLOGY

  1. Cookies and Other Technologies

    1. When you use the Baskit website or application, we may place a number of cookies on your browser. Cookies are a piece of data stored on a User's browser or computer that contains information about the User.

    2. Cookies are used to manage sessions on the Baskit website or application. To use the Baskit website or application, Users must enable cookies. The cookie we use is a session ID cookie, which means that when the user closes the browser, the cookie is deleted.

    3. Baskit uses Cookies for the purpose of operating the Baskit website or application, recognizing and counting the number of visitors, as well as to improve and improve the quality of Baskit website or application services.

    4. Cookies are used to recognize Users when they return to the Baskit website or application. Users can use this to remember account passwords on the Baskit website or application so that they are automatically filled in when the user logs in to the account. We will not use cookies to collect personal information from any user that is not intended to be submitted to us.

  2. IP Addresses. Baskit stores your IP (Internet Protocol) address or computer location on the Internet, to manage the Website and Baskit system administration, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, and other statistical purposes. We use IP addresses as a whole (aggregate) to find out the locations of users who access the Baskit website or application.

  3. Log Files. Baskit stores log files in the form of activity information on the Baskit website or application. Log files are stored in aggregate (entire) form which are used to analyze usage of the Baskit website or application.

USE OF INFORMATION

  1. Statistical Analysis. Baskit can carry out statistical, demographic and marketing analysis of User Information including habits and usage patterns on websites or applications used for product development and provide recommendations to advertisers regarding User habits. This information is also used to provide information related to other products and services that we deem appropriate to the User's interests and targets. Baskit Partners may also share User information that is used for analytical purposes, including analysis to improve user relationships.

  2. Baskit Products and Services. Baskit uses User information to provide information, products and services to you. Baskit may also provide information and offers on other products and services from Baskit that are shared internally. You can choose not to accept these offers.

  3. Banner Ads. Demographic information and User preferences are used for the purpose of placing advertisements on our website or running our events more precisely. The advertisements displayed to Users are advertisements that match their demographic information and preferences so that advertisers can deliver messages only to the right targets for their products. This improves user experience and ad effectiveness. We only convey information to Baskit Partners in aggregate (entire) format.

E-MAIL ADDRESS HANDLING POLICY

  1. We will not share, sell, rent, exchange or authorize User information to Baskit Partners without the User's consent. If you feel you have received an e-mail from us in error, please contact support@baskit.app.

  2. E-mail related to Accounts and Services. Baskit reserves the right to send you emails regarding your account status, including order confirmations, renewal/expiration notices, payment method problem notifications, other transactional e-mails and notices of comprehensive changes to our website and/or our Privacy Terms.

  3. Email Newsletter. Baskit offers an e-mail newsletter facility which is sent to the User's email. If you no longer wish to receive a particular newsletter, please follow the "unsubscribe" steps located in the bottom corner of each newsletter e-mail.

  4. Promotional E-mail

  5. Baskit will regularly send e-mails containing offers of products and services that may be of interest to you. You can choose not to receive these messages in the future by following the "unsubscribe" instructions located at the bottom of each e-mail, or opting out of receiving this type of e-mail in your e-mail settings.

  6. Routinely, Baskit obtains e-mail addresses sourced from third parties to send promotional e-mails by Baskit. You can choose not to receive these messages in the future by following the "unsubscribe" instructions located at the bottom of each e-mail, or opting out of receiving this type of e-mail in your e-mail settings.

  7. E-mail Survey. We may send e-mails inviting you to participate in user surveys, asking about your feedback about Baskit and existing or under development products and services, as well as other information aimed at getting to know our users better. User surveys really help us in developing the Baskit Website. We will not provide User Information from these surveys to Baskit Partners, except in aggregate (entire) form.

  8. HTML e-mail. When you register to receive e-mail from us, you can choose to receive e-mail in text or HTML (with images) format. If you choose HTML format, we will send an e-mail with an image in one pixel gif format to see if the recipient has opened the e-mail. This process does not leave any information behind or collect any information from your computer. Baskit only shares this data in aggregate (overall).

  9. E-mail From You. If you send us an e-mail, you understand that the information contained in the e-mail may be known to other parties. We recommend that you be very careful in including personal or confidential information in e-mails. We will send a reply containing answers to the e-mail address you used to send us comments or questions.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

  1. If you have registered with one of our site services, Baskit will not sell, rent, exchange, or authorize third parties to use your e-mail address or other information that personally identifies you without permission.

  2. Baskit may share User Information with Baskit Partners or third parties in aggregate form.

  3. We may disclose personal information to comply with a legal obligation or believe that such steps are necessary to:

    1. comply with the law or court processes;

    2. protect and defend Baskit's copyright, property and security;

    3. protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Baskit website or application; or

    4. protect the personal safety or property of Users or the public. In this case, if you provide false information or pretend to be someone else, we may share information about you as part of an investigation into your actions.

INFORMATION PROTECTION AND SECURITY

  1. We will provide all User information that Baskit collects with comparable protection and in line with our commitments under these Privacy Terms.

  2. We will store all user information provided as long as you are still a user of the Baskit website or application or you are no longer a user of the Baskit website or application but do not provide confirmation to delete your information.

  3. In the event that Baskit provides (or the User chooses) a password and/or One Time Password (OTP) that allows you to access certain parts of the Baskit website or application, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password. Baskit prohibits Users from sharing passwords with anyone.

  4. To prevent data access by unauthorized parties, maintain data accuracy and ensure the proper use of information, we use physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect the information we collect online.

  5. Users understand that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Nevertheless, Baskit will make every effort to protect User information.

YOUR RIGHTS

  1. You have the right to request that your information be deleted on the Baskit website or application or withdraw your consent for the collection, use or disclosure of your information by confirming in writing to the contact we have listed in these Privacy Terms.

  2. You have the right to request Baskit to access and/or verify your information which is in Baskit's control, by contacting us via the contact details we have listed in these Privacy Terms.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY TERMS

  1. Baskit may change or add to the privacy provisions of Baskit's policy at any time, to ensure that this policy can keep up with developments in Baskit's services and needs as well as changes in related legal provisions.

  2. Any changes Baskit makes will be displayed on this page and, when necessary, notified to you via e-mail. Please revisit this page from time to time to see any changes or additions to Baskit's privacy terms.

  3. If we make very significant or material changes to the way we use your personal data, the changes will be posted at least thirty (30) days before they take effect and registered users will be notified via e-mail.
